Every page is written and maintained by the Clinics for Kings editorial desk and signed off by our two co-founders, Morten Andersen and Fredrik Filipsson. We are editors and publishers, not clinicians. Our role is to make you a sharper, better-informed patient — not to diagnose, treat, or recommend a named provider.
Because this is health and money information, we hold it to a high bar: anything clinical is framed as general information, dated, and pointed back to primary sources. We do not present ourselves as a substitute for a licensed doctor, and we say so on every page.
Costs, statistics and risk figures come from reputable, named sources — published cost guides, clinical bodies and peer-reviewed literature where available — and are labelled and dated. Where a figure is uncertain, we say so. We would rather omit a number than invent one. A wrong page is worse than no page.
Costs are always shown as indicative ranges, never a fixed promise. We explain what drives a price and what a fair comparison with treatment at home should include, adding travel, repeat visits and the cost of managing a complication, not just the headline figure.
No clinic, hospital or surgeon is named, ranked, recommended or linked anywhere in our guides. The moment a guide points at a favourite, it becomes a sales channel and you can no longer trust it. We teach you how to judge any provider, then route you to vetted options through Get Matched so you decide for yourself.
Clinics for Kings is free to read. No clinic can pay to be named, ranked, recommended or covered — we do not name clinics at all, so there is no placement to buy. Our guides carry no clinic advertising.
Get Matched is an optional service: when you choose to use it, we pass your single brief to clinics we have vetted, and that service is what keeps the guides free and independent of any one clinic. Using a match is always your choice, and you are never charged to read a guide or to be matched.
We will update this section with any further detail of our commercial arrangements as the service develops, so that nothing material is hidden from you.
Every page carries a visible "last reviewed" date. We re-check cost and risk figures on a rolling schedule and re-date a page when we do. Outdated, inaccurate or thin pages are refreshed or removed rather than left to drift.
If you spot a cost or risk figure that looks wrong or out of date, tell us. Send the page link and the figure in question to our contact desk and we will review it, correct it if needed, and re-date the page. We read every message and reply within two working days. Material corrections are made promptly; we do not quietly delete a page to hide an error.
